Removing front seats

Post by chrispy. »

Need to clean my car and hoover the insides of course but cannot get under the seats.

Am i able to remove the seats by unscrewing them, or do will i need to de-activate something?

Im unsure.

Simply unscrew and unclip the wires on the bottom there's a bit of slack so you are able to tilt the seat towards the door for easier access, as long as you don't turn the ignition on while the seat is not connected to the wires you should be fine otherwise you may get a airbag warning come up on the mfd

I have been led to believe you need to disconnect the battery before taking seats out to avoid firing the airbags.

I never do disconnect the battery but you can always do it as a precaution will take 30 to disconnect the negative
