SHock Absorber maybe?
Hey everyone, my 2013 polo gti feels like it turns more easily to the left than the right and recently when going over a speedbump with the window open I heard a little pssst sound. Could this be a problem with a gas shock?

The shocks hissing is normal. I get that, thought it was a slow puncture at first but was reassured here.
With respect to the turning there are a few things to consider, I'm assuming you are UK?
The road cambers to the left for water runoff.
All cars will also pull slightly to the left for safety, if you nod off whilst driving it stops you drifting into oncoming traffic.
Test it out on a flat peice of ground like a car park. Drive very slowly with your hands off the wheel and you should see it pull slightly. On my GTI it is actually programmed into the electronic power steering I think, as I see the wheel physically move independent of forward movement. Might be one that can be altered in the VCDS?
If you're still not happy get the tracking checked, it's possible something has been knocked out of alignment by a pot hole or something.

Re: SHock Absorber maybe?
Cheers for the info.
Actually I'm in Switzerland (on the other side of the road) so the pull to the left can take me against the road camber into oncoming traffic.
I booked in today for the 1st of July so here's to hoping.
Will post back with results
Thanks again

In that case yep you've done the right thing to get it looked at. Hopefully it's alignment or something simple.

How much does it pull to the side? Check it's not just following the camber of the road.
