hello polo family.
Ive been having some pretty big wiring problems on my polo 6R recently, all related to the ECU -.-
Ive managed to get them sorted after a week and stripping out most of the loom including the dashboard and relay cage..its all in bits!
Anyway i went to putting it all back together and i noticed when i plug my BCM in ( i have 3, standard one, daily use gti one and a fabia one) I plugged in my usual gti BCM and i had no electric windows..no indicators...no central locking...All this with the ignition on!...i engaged vcds and it shows that "terminal 15" is off when iginition is on and it shouldnt be.
But when i plug in another BCM, windows start to work, locks and unlocks, but still no indicators , wipers etc
There seems to be a problem which isnt letting terminal 15 engage...basically the car still acts like the ignition is off when its on
Any help would be so greatly appreciated!...thanks
Need help asap :(

Re: Need help asap :(
At first it seems a coding problem, but if you do not publish a autoscan is not possible to help you.
BCM coding required before problems. Look at the Logs folder VCDS program.
Uses the same original coding (before problems) to BCM every time you install a different BCM. (GTI, Fabia or original)

Re: Need help asap :(
The problem was a leaking screenwash pipe that had corroded the wires that went to the ECU
