"Check deadlock"

Why does this flash on the LCD display after l take the key out of the ignition?
Does it mean there is a fault?

Its to remind you the car has safe locking so not to lock it from the outside while people are left inside.

It's about double/dead locking the doors, ie one press of the fob or two. It confused me when I read the manual.
