Easy question, is the air filter included in the first/10000 mile/1 year service?
Info says oil and filter change (with a general look over the car) but doesn't specify which filter(s) are changed. Does anyone have a link to info which shows what should be done each service.

Re: 10000 mile service
Info around what is scheduled to be changed is in the service book.
In my experience, VW will only do that work that is scheduled and nothing else.
So, no, the air filter won't be changed at 1yr/10,000 miles.
You will have to ask them to do that as additional work if you require it, although I would save your money as It's easy enough to do yourself as long as you have a screwdriver.

Thanks for that. I know it's easy, I've had it out to put mark on it so I know if it has been changed, just didn't know when to expect it!
The spaces in the service book are generic so don't give detail of each service. It's down to the tech ticking the boxes.

The space where the dealer/tech stamps the book do have boxes to be ticked, but in my service book at least, the front sections before the service stamp bit details what service operations are scheduled at what mileage, and for what engine etc.
