Most big companies are not stupid, so that converts into them not having a dedicated email address to get swamped with complaints.

Take a look in your car documents and you should find a postal address - write a civil letter to them making only clear points, obviously keeping a copy, and send it recorded delivery or something like that, from my experience, they will be loathe to put pen to paper so will try to keep comms to phone calls, so maybe give them all your contact details.

In my experience, with Ford, them moved me to another dealer and made a weak effort to solve my problems, I solved them later myself by paying for new parts, it just ended up not being worth the bother with wasting my time talking to them.

One other thing, if it about general dealer short comings, most dealers are governed/regulated by an "independent" body, they will display which body they are monitored by on their premises.

Is your particular VW garage part of a larger group, a lot of them are these days.

If so, might be worth seeking out the group managing director or similar?

Did the dealer principal of the garage not help you then? I've always found them quite receptive to firm and if necessary repeated correspondence.

Is this over the wheels?

Also, not sure if you've financed any of the vehicle at all, but your finance company have legal responsibilities to help you sort things if it's a problem with the car they've financed.

thansk for the reply all! i will try all the things that has been mention above! to be honest i had a better service from ford then VW!
anyway better if i copy the complain letter then explaning myself again

Name and adddress

Car: POLO GTI
Registration: EX13***
Sales Man: Mr Hussian
Contact telephone: *****
Best way of contact Email:****

To whom it may concern
To start with I apologise my English is not my first language and I have tried my best to explain myself. I am writing to complain about a terrible service that I have been given by Volkswagen. I have recently purchase a used car from one of your dealers Romford Volkswagen (A12, Romford, Essex RM3 0GU). First of all I wasn’t too happy about how long it has taken the car to be delivered from one side of London to another, I have place a deposit on the 9/8/2014 for the car to be delivery to Romford Volkswagen I have been told it will take about 1 week to be delivered to the dealership on the following week no phone call or any contact at all I phone on 15/8/14 to ask will the car be ready for the weekend and all I had was disappointment, the dealer told me the earliest date they can get it delivered was next Thursdays 21/8/14 so I waited for another week. By the 21/08/14 evening I have still not been contacted about the car so I phone up and ask about it! And for them to tell me the car is at the dealership and you can come for a test drive and the same time while we was on the phone I have ask will the car be ready on the weekend for me to pick up after the test drive the dealership said yes they will try their best so I can drive the car away. 23/08/14 went to test drive the car all went well please with the car however yet another disappointment from the dealers according to them the computer system is down they cannot send any car out or tax any cars. inspection of the car there was a small problem with the seat beat which I mention it doesn’t unbuckle all the time it is intermittent, so the guy went and said don’t worry the car will be cleaned and checked over and making sure it will be good to be going out when I pick the car up, then he mention saying the alloy wheels will be refurbish because of the condition of it which to me that is fantastic as they are looking a bit scratched., I got told the car will be ready for me on the 27/09/14. 27/09/14 on the day parked up my car and walked over to the front door, I see the sales man who sold me the car with my car DRIVING/REVING very quick down to the parking lot where the car is to be driven away by the owner. That did not impress me at all, first of all cars to my knowledge should not be revved up or driven reckless when the engine is cold this does not do any good to the engine at all but anyway back to the point why I am writing this letter up the first thing I notice when I saw the car was the alloys has been changed! Refurnished as the sales man has state he will do but the done totally wrong colour! The alloy wheels on the car was diamond cut wheels (shiny with black inserts ) but now the alloy wheel is standard silver! (can have picture of alloy wheels different if not understand ) At this point I did not want to take delivering of the car because it does not look like what I saw in the picture or when I went for a test drive the car just look like a normal Polo rather than a Polo GTI now! The sales man can see my facial impression that I was not happy about this. I am so disappointed I said to the sales man I do not want this car any more, but he said this will be SORTED don’t worry he will contact the alloy wheel man and will get this SORTED out for me soon as possible he also went if you take the car today we just book your car in and give you a rental car to drive while it’s in for the wheels so I signed the paper work and part exchanged my car in for the new car. I wouldn’t of agree for the wheels to be refurbish if I know it will turn out like how they are now. 3/10/14 I have phone up the sales man and ask if they know any details my wheels he said the alloy wheel man has been off and will be back Tuesday so I will let you know next week. No phone all or contact all week so I fed up and drive to the dealership on Sunday 13/09/14 and complain saying why I haven’t been contacted! And told them I have had better service with my old car FORD then Volkswagen and this probably will be the last time I will be owning one either! The sales man has apologise and said the alloy wheel man contact him Friday evening and told him they can’t do the wheel refurbish to diamond cut and only can do normal if I want it done they will need to be send off to another company so the sales man said he will find out more details about where to send the wheels of too and get back to me and book my car in for it to be done. 1 week no contact or phone call 22/09/14 I phone the dealership and have ask what is going on and for him to tell me at the end the manager said no they will not cover the cost of it as they have drop the cost of the car when they told me the car to get me the deal. SORRY BUT AFTER ALL THIS TIME! I WAS PROMISSED THAT IT WILL BE DONE! BUT THEN 4 WEEKS LATER THEY SAID MANAGER WILL NOT DO IT?! I have feel that I have wasted a lot of my time and effort in this! I felt that once I sign the paper work the dealership does not want to know me even though the error is on their side. The service I had been given by VW is POOR! and I will probably never going buy another Volkswagen again I had had a better service by FORD then Volkswagen. I rather had a cheaper car from another brand with good service then paying more money for quality car but awful service. I am looking forward to see what you have got to say from this.

Kind Regards

that is what i sent to vwuk help on twitter hoping they will get back to me

I can see where you are coming from, first once they had "hooked you in" they did not complete the sale within the expected time, now after they had agreed to correct or "make better" the wheel issue, they have spent the money that sale allowed them to, and did not get the expected corrective action on the wheels - their fault by not checking exactly what the alloy wheel person could do - now they seem to be blaming you for not being happy. I think that they need to grow up, if that car had been presented for sale with these wheels refinished in the way they ended up being, you might have either ignored that car or accepted that it looked better, or grabbed it with some money off - but you clearly expected the wheel work to restore them to be as good as new and certainly looking as they would when new - not good enough!

Good, now lets hope they can convert words into actions, that is actions that leave you feeling like they respect your business!
