I have a nimbus grey 1.2 2011 VW Polo that I bought earlier this year.
Everything is standard.
I'm looking for some modifications that I can make to my car. Reasonably cheap.
I also would like some suggestions of what alloys to put on my car, really want to put some nice alloys on it but I have no idea what I should get that looks good (colour, style etc.) I have 14" alloys and cannot change the size unfortunately. I can spend a bit more on the alloys.
I'm a noob, just need some pointers. Here is a picture of what my vehicle looks like at the moment (not my car, but the exact same model and look)

Re: Need some with modifications!
You can change the size of the alloys, but obviously you'll need some new tyres to keep the rolling radius the same.
Pop your car details into something like the wheelbasealloys website, and you will have hundreds to choose from.
You can keep your old steel wheels and put some winter tyres on?
Re other mods, some relatively cheap stuff I've done for a friends polo 1.2 things is lowering springs, and on the inside I've replaced the steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake gator for leather items, all sourced pretty cheap from eBay Germany. The leather wheel in particular is much nicer to hold and use than the moulded plastic one that was standard.

Obviously, the above are no use if you already have leather items!
After that, gets trickier for cheap mods, but some chrome rings are available for the heater controls, again from eBay, and they 'lift' the interior a bit.

Not sure if your car has DAB, or what unit is fitted, but touch screen 510 systems are around for not much cash nowadays as well.
It depends what is already fitted to your car and what are you aiming to achieve really?
