BlueGT Tickover

Post by Rik762 »

I seem to have a variable tickover speed with my BlueGT that is not dependent on whether the engine is hot or cold. Some of the time it is around 700 rpm and the rest of the time about 1000 rpm. When it was new I can't recall it being anything other than 700.
Does anyone else have a similar experience ?

Tickovers do vary depending on electrical load - I'd expect it to be higher when you have A/C or things like heated seats / mirrors on. Does this ever happen in traffic after much use of stop / start?

I have checked using minimum electrical load and I do not use 'stop / start' at all. Seems to make no difference.
