Reset Service Countdown?

Is there a way of resetting the Sevice Day Countdown?
As my car is out of its 3 year warranty now, looking to save money and do service myself. But worried ill do it and cant reset the countdown

Does that make sense?

With VCDS:



Change the new value to pleasure, with "0" start counting the days again.
For example in the image above:
If you write the new value 178 and "Do it", will have 100 days more.

No problem so long as you respect the service intervals depending on oil quality and use of vehicle.

There are also instructions on how to reset the indicator in the cars manual if you don't have access to VCDS.

My Service is due in May
Service at my local place is £210 for a full service.

Which isn't really bad but thinking if I can save money then why not.

Correct, but miles or kilometers and time are reset at a time.
