Hey all
Ive bought a media in cable from volkswagen. Its media in to usb. I have tried using my iphone 5s to connect with it, however it says that this media is none functional. At first i thought it was the cable, however, when i plug a USB pen drive in, it works and plays through my radio.
Any ways i can get this cable to work with my iphone?!
Car im using is a 2013 Match Polo.
Also, when using my TPK kit to play music via bluetooth, the sound quality is appauling and has literally no bass. Am i doing something wrong here?
many thanks
david

You need the MDI to lightning connector, or the MDI to iPod lead with the 25 pin to lighting apple official adapter
The iphone cannot be connected via the USB MDI cable

With respect the the bluetooth, is it the Bury kit you've got? That sort of add on touch screen thing. If so it's not meant to be bluetooth audio compatible for anything other than the phone spekaer & mic. Tere was a thread on here a while ago where soemone went to a lot of hassle to try and get the right cable to make it work properly.
The simplest and cheapest option is to get a nice 32Gb memory stick, pop all your music on it and leave it in the car.

Alex is right... Apple official being the key ingredient as any other won't work.
