Do the new style of sports pedals fit the 6R?

I've seen that there's a new style of metal pedals for the 6C, they have larger black areas than those available on the 6R, does anyone know if they would fit on a 6R?

If I remember correctly, the clutch and brake will fit but the throttle is a bit different. You could check out ciclo's Polo build thread since he did a retrofit.

I can assure that in this way assembly is perfect, and I think that is the only way to assemble 6C new style pedal caps (the only ones that it sell) on 6R without breaking anything.
