Engine and gearbox mounts

Post by TRiBaL »

Thinking of replacing all 3 mounts. Went through my service book and found out i only changed the main engine mount about 11 years ago when i changed timing belts for the first time.
I have a small vibration when idle and noticeable engine-gearbox movement when changing gears. Should i go with original equipment or look for something else? They are quite expensive though :?

Get Febi ones. They are excellent quality. The oem ones are Febi ones with a stamp. I had it confirmed by Febi themselves :)

That's great! Febi ones are half the price. The rear mount must be bought genuine though. It is only produced by vw and costs around 80euros.

One more thing. Should i also get this part 6N0199111H for the mount under the battery?
