Ragley Hall Mega Meet September 2004

Post by Nelson_Wilbury »

Hello people,

uk-polos.net has been invited by Robin Turner (CGTi Worcs Co-host) to attend the Ragley Hall VAG mega meet in September 2004.

It would be great if we could get a selection of cars to attend as they are trying to get as many VAG clubs together as possible.
Other forums interested so far are UK-MKIVS, Seatcupra.Net, Seatenthusiasts, Cheshire VAG club, VW Corrado club and Briskoda.net

Apparently last years event was brilliant with excellent surroundings, laid back atmosphere and a good selection of trade stands. I believe last years turn out was around 600 people so its quite a big event.

I know this is a long way off, but if you think you can make it please can you register your interest in this topic so I can get back to Rob.

For more information visit http://www.clubgtiworcs.com/modules.php ... 8043#18043

Cheers 8)

It's a good crack. We had a load more people turn up than we thought last year. More a meeting than a show (hence the name  ) but it gives a chance for people to get together and talk, etc.
It's basically a mansion surounded by a few hundred acres of grass/ woodland, etc. There's a massive flat area too. We had to re-organise the way it was layed out when people turned up there as there was so many of them!
it's not 'till September I don't think, but you should all come along. Everyone's welcome! 8)

Yes, its still going ahead :)

I'll have a word with Josh to see if we can borrow the Gazebo for the show.

Cheers

OK people. The place opens to the public, stands and Traders at 10am. In light of this I think its best if we use the smaller uk-polos.net Gazebo as the bigger one takes ages to set up and even longer to put away!

Metz, can I ask a favour? As you live just down the road from Josh would you be able to collect the small Gazebo from him?

Can I have some confirmation of whos coming? As usual, copy the previous text and add your own name...

Looking at my map, there is a Travel Lodge/Burger King/Little Chef just outside Ragley hall on the A46. I suppose we could all arrive/meet up there for 9:45am then leave for RH just before 10am?

Here is the map:

Red Star: Ragley Hall.
Black Dot: Burger King.
