Hi folks!
Did anyone change the front seats? Thinking about Golf MK4 Recaros, TT 8N or Golf MK6 GTI/GTD. Any opinions?
Greetings

Re: Other Seats
I think people have transplanted the Audi A1, Seat Ibiza and Skoda Fabia seats, which is straightforward as they're all the same platform.
The main problem with any of the other cars you mention is the airbag compatibility,as they're in the seat.
It may be possible to connect them up and get no warning lights, but can you be sure they'll work when needed?
Don't forget also, that a Mk4 Golf is at least 10 years old now, so the airbags in the seats will be scheduled for replacement anyway, I believe the specified time period was 12 years.
