Good after all,
I recently had a problem where the central locking stopped working when opening my drivers door plus the driver door switches do not lock/unlock the doors and the electric windows do not work, although the passenger window does but will only go down from the drivers door !!!
I did some searching and found the wires going from the door to A post break, having checked these I did find a few broken or split wires, these have all now been fixed and extended, however, putting it all back together it still does not work, so out came the whole door loom again and I check every single wire with a multimeter from the main plug to all other connectors and all cables do work so it must be something else.. One thing to add here is that when I found the split wires in moving them about a couple shorted out and sparked which I quickly pulled apart so is it possible that this could have fried a relay or something? All fuses were checked and none had blown.
Hopefulyl someone can help as its a real pain not being to open the driver window or all the doors without having to lean across !!

Re: Driver door window/locking buttons not working
Its possible the switches are faulty
Have you tried swapping the passenger and drives wires over to rule out a faulty switch?
If not, the window motors could be shot.
