6n2 advice

Post by l33th4ll »

Hello name is lee and I'm looking at a 6n2 gti.

Been offered a w reg 6n2 for my audi a3 and £500.

Audi isnt in perfect nick so trying ti get rid.

Got a few questions

Apart from few issues of bodywork (needs new wing and few touch ups) one thing is didnt have an air filter on and the car is LOUD seems to be standard exhaust so could this loudness be due to the filter missing.

Second question was fine when he drove it but when i did it was jerky and power didnt seem to come through the same he mentioned it was an open throttle and I'm unsure on what that means and what diffrent driving needs doing to drive smoothly

You need to check what air filter it has fitted

If I'm honest it sounds like a bit of a dog. Don't be had over.

it didnt have any filter at all he has removed the whole airbox for some stupid reason what should a 6n2 be like the clutch felt fine yet i would have thought throttle and pull off would have been smooth like evry other car i have driven.

I would never own a car that had had the air filter completely removed. What an idiot! Your literally allowing everything airborne to go straight into the engine

Avoid it like the plague. That car won't last.

It should pull away smooth
