Re: New GTI
Not bad considering they've used the DSG Polo which is 100Nm down on the Golf.

Re: New GTI
I'm so tired of waiting.
Min'es a build week 18 so it's probably being assembled right now. Hope they don't miss any screws![Mr. Green ](./images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)

Re: New GTI
Mine is built this week. Delivery around end of April.
Long time really from the order, second week of January.
Anyone would think I'm waiting for a Maserati not some mass produced Polo.
I think they do need to reduce some of the many combos that can be optioned, and are apparently planning it, it makes lead times quite ridiculous.

Re: New GTI
We are on week 16 2015. Is the build date the weeks it's started or completed?
I got an arrival date of around May 15th. Ordered Feb 20th so around 3 months.
I also think it's a stupid long time to wait for a Polo. But In Portugal I was always told about 3 to 4 months delivery on any sporty supermini. Only Renault and Mini had like 1-2 months delivery and it's weird 'cause pretty much all Minis are special orders.
I got a 6 month delivery date on the Kia Cee'd GT, got out the dealership LOL'ing all the way back to my car. Never talked to them again.

Re: New GTI
I agree delivery times are pretty mad for what is a 'relatively' normal car.
If you look at the length of time people are waiting on Fiesta ST, some are getting cars in about 6 weeks for full factory orders.
I can only assume VW underestimated demand for the new Polo GTI.

Re: New GTI
That's not good. I had an estimated one within about two weeks of ordering, and then confirmed after about 6 weeks.Andy4791 wrote:No build date for me yet, ordered 13 Feb [emoji19]
Have you spoken to your dealer? Alternatively, you can tweet @VWUKHelp your order number and they can update you.
