Blue GT noise gearbox

I have a 13plate Polo blue gt. The gearbox seems to whine when changing down at low speeds, 4 to 3, 3 to 2. Not a loud noise but definitely audible. Has anyone else noticed this. It just sounds like it's worn to me. The dealer said they couldn't hear it but that was Heritage Bristol and my experience of them isn't good.

Not noticed a gearbox whine, but on mine the change from fifth to sixth when the car is warm gets quite stiff. It's fine when the car is cold, but once warm the change gets progressively more difficult and requires more force.

Haven't had it looked at as the car goes back in a couple of weeks to be replaced by a new one, so will see if that one has the same issue.

My BGT is brand new, but there's no whine at all from the gearbox.

I have a noise from ACT system when changes to 2 or 4 cylinders.
When take low gear noise "clack" which comes from the ACT system ..
gearbox manual 6v is perfect.

Gearbox whine in second & third gear at low constant speeds, i.e. roads with 20 mph limit.
