Polo 6n2 aircon not working

Hello on my polo the aircon dosent work,with the weather getting warmer it would be nice.when you press the button that lights up but the revs front drop slightly or nothing,grow would I test

That implies it's ran out of refrigerant

Take it to your local garage and get it recharged

Would it not cut in at all then,I did let abit out via the fill nozzle and it sprayed some out but not loads

No, not if the refrigerant level is too low. The compressor will cut in but do nothing
