Probably worth shopping on-line for a more competitive quote (think around £100 might be closer to the mark).

I had quotes of Gap insurance ranging from £90 - £130 dependent on the type of cover you want.

However, VW dealer managed to get it thrown in for free as part of my deal with them. So, naturally, I took that!

I notice your from Durham, I'm in Newcastle, what dealer did you go to?

Pulman in Durham.

Dealt with Chris Taylor - second car I've bought through him, would certainly recommend them.
