Dsg sport button= 184ft/lbs (sport off) & 236ft/lbs (sport on)

Just see it as the box isn't really designed for the engine.

I hadn't considered that. If that is the case, i'll be adding it to my options, if it's not too late!

I"ve contacted VW, and my dealer so will report back on what they say.

Interesting point on the DSG boxes, i've ordered a DSG model and am curious as to whether the lack of torque will be mapped out or can be sorted somehow.

Still waiting on build week confirmation, at the most estimate is build week 25 :(

Hurry up VW!

It will have been mapped out by vw and for a reason imho

it could be either they wanted to keep the dsg and manual same 0-60 or the box isn't designed to have much more torque.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same box out of the 6r and they have just made slight tweaks to it, that's why they have mapped them to the same torque as the 6r.

Unfortunately am too new to reply to pm messages. But have had a few ask how much I paid in total for my spec.
I used the Carwow site, very easy and has genuine dealer offers.
In total my spec came too £18,238 which I was pleased about :D

I ordered in March, however I spoke with my supplying dealer today and my build week has changed to 31!

Glad i've seen a photo on another site of a Reflex Silver one, wasn't sure on it but am 100% happy now i've seen one. Rest of spec I went for below, I managed to get this for £19,113 on the road which I thought was a pretty good deal!

3 Door DSG
Reflex Silver
Jacara Cloth
Discover Nav
DCC Sport Pack
Carbon Mirrors
Park Pack (Parking sensors, front and rear, rear-view camera and cruise control)

Rang the dealer yesterday to ask when my car was due to be built as the vw tracker website is bloody useless! Was told build week 27. Ordered start of may. Seems pretty soon compared to when some people ordered

Had my email this morning to say my car is at the dealer.

Wonder when they will contact me as I've heard nothing from them since I ordered the car.

Probably when they want your money .
That's a bit of a poor service. I had regular updates from my dealer (Listers, Leamington Spa) as to what was going on.
Not long now for you, enjoy your car. :)

They have just rang asking for me to come in and sign/pay for it tomorrow.

What a surprise lol.

Tbh the dealership I've never had a problem with but I guess it can depend on individual salesman whether you get good or bad service.

Mine's been delayed for a few days
Gotta wait 'till next week.

By the way, anyone read the EVO review? They kinda ripped the Polo a new a**hole. But praise its GT skills.
Honestly I don't care very much, I liked it when I drove it and that's what matters. But VW could definitely change the stock tyres to something more sporting (it's the only hot hatch without a decent set) and I think opinions would be different. Good rubber really makes a big difference.

I noticed that as well shark. They moan a lot about the engine! Funny thing is, after all the slating they have it, it somehow still got 4 stars. It annoys me massively that everyone compares it to the fiesta! Not everybody wants a car that can go round a track side ways like a go kart!

Evo didn't half rip it to bits, iirc only the interior got pass marks. Strange really as everyone else had a positive review on it.
