With my new front brake callipers and carriers. Now I will have some proper brakes on my polo, because 239mm vented wont be up to the job.

Indeed they are for 256mm discs.
They are ideal because they fit under 14" wheels and are a lot better than the polo ones which frequently suffer from pad rattle. Plus the increase in braking power which is exactly what I'm going to need.

Oh yeah, they are off a pre 86' Audi Coupe 5cyl. I will get the part number and all the ones they were fitted to if you want. It took me a while to get hold of them, I must have phoned about 20 breakers / salvage yards before finding them.

Well, if you're looking for a home for your old 239mm vented kit, I'm sure that'd make a lovely project for the old mk2 :D

Enjoy the ability to stop :)

My 239mm vented setup with black diamond grooved discs and greenstuff pads is going on my GT runabout. It seriously needs them as I keep scaring myself with the standard efforts.

So my blue GT will get the new setup I've aquired.
