That looks like water marks - these interiors rarely fade/wear

Try some AutoGlym interior shampoo on it and see how they come up

I agree this looks like liquid marks or stains.

The only part that I have 'wearing' in my 6R is the door card material where your arm rests on the driver door, some 'baubling' of the material.

Polo's party trick is to tip any water that's gathered on the roof while the cars been standing, straight onto the passenger/drivers seat as the door is opened. Only needs a modest camber on the road and the water runs off like a waterfall. (especially if you keep the car well waxed/polished) That's exactly the state it leaves the seats in, if we've happened to have had one of those rainstorms that picks up a load of dust as they do from time to time.

That just needs a little TLC and a spritz with some AutoGlym Interior shampoo or similar. Don't go mad with the water, a damp sponge will do, there's an Airbag and it's associated electrics just under there. I've had to do my passenger side 2-3 times to freshen it up.

Mate spilt his drink on my back seat and left a massive stain covering the whole seat, and similar white staining on the black parts. I cleaned it with a warm solution of washing powder and used a vax wet hoover to prevent any stains from drying. I did take off the cover off to prevent the cushion from being soaked, don't know how easy it is to do that to the front seats though
Came up great and has has made me want to do the whole interior
