Adaptive Cruise Control
Does anyone know if the car sets off the brake lights when using ACC and it slows itself up?

Re: Adaptive Cruise Control
If traffic is slowly slowing down then the ACC will not use the break pedal, it tends to ease off the throttle, thats if you also have the distance yet to 'far' or 'furthest'.deltalimamike wrote:Does anyone know if the car sets off the brake lights when using ACC and it slows itself up?
If traffic is slowing down fast it will apply the brakes and slow the car quickly.
I have had ACC for nearly a year on my 6C and got my brother to follow me, who confirmed the brake lights are applied when the car slows down under the adaptive system. Good job really haha!
When i first used the system it took a while to learn to trust it and how it behaves etc. I now have the settings on 'closest'.. hope this helps!

Do a fair amount of miles and like use the ACC.
