Hi all,
Got a 1.2 9n3 and it sounds awful, I know not a whole lot can be done without a whole new exhaust system, and as you can't even see the exhaust tip from the back I was thinking of getting an angled tip so it shows from the bumper.
Obviously this wouldn't have an impact on the sound, so any ideas on what I can do to improve the noise without a new back box etc?
Cheers!
Exhaust tip/sound
Re: Exhaust tip/sound
A back box will change the sound...
Loads of companies make them and will fit them for you - depends entirely on who you're close to
EDIT - Only just realised you said without a back box. If you're desperate for more noise you can drill holes in your exhaust, but to be honest it never really sounds good. A back box is probably the easiest and cleanest way to make it sound better/louder.

I've got a 9N3 1.2 and it sounds terrible too haha, like a tractor! Any suggestions as to what backboxes to look at to improve the sound? Preferably some that won't break the bank, but i'm willing to pay a reasonable amount to get it sounding nice!
