R-Line badge on a GTI Grille (6r)

Post by LeeT96 »

I have seen someone with the R-Line badge on a GTI Grille and wanted to know if it fit properly without showing the disformed honeycomb behind it?

It was only on instagram so I couldn't get a proper look but I think it looks awesome! Has anyone done this?

Fitted an r badge to mine, covers the uneven shaped bit but doesn't cover the part which isn't hollow. R-line badge is longer so should cover it all. I don't think the oem will fit, but one like this will do the job

bottom left hand pic, slot the badge in to the grill with the two lugs attached. On the other side of the grill slide the plates on to the lugs and tighten the hex bolts to secure the badge to the grill
