Hey guys,
I have the climatronic air conditioning on my new Polo 6C. I've noticed that when there's no road noise (i.e. when stationary or in very slow moving traffic), if I have the air conditioning set to "LOW" then I can hear a variable whooshing / whistling noise from the air vents, a little bit like liquid is freezing. It's difficult to describe but it's quite noticeable because it varies rather than being one continuous tone like the usual noise from the vents.
At any temperature other than "LOW" then this noise isn't present...well not with the current outdoor temperature being so chilly anyway!
Before I go back to the dealer I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed the same?
Thanks.

Re: Noisy air conditioning
Sorry if I'm too late, but, is the first car that you have had with automatic air con? Why I ask this is, when you demand "Low" the fan will run at high(er/est) speed and so will be noisy.
Re: Noisy air conditioning
Mine has regular AC and occasionally I hear the noise of the fluid moving around but hadn't thought anything of it. I used to hear it on my MK6 golf now and again.
