Painting Sel grill

Post by Mayhem »

Was thinking about painting the lower silver trim red. Does that part come off or does it need painting with it attached to the lower grill and has to be masked off?

Right tried to remove the whole lower grill. Managed to get fog light covers off and the side and lower part of the grill. However the top seems stuck no matter how hard I pull it. Any ideas? Looks like the silver part can be unclipped once it's all off

Iv given up. One of the clips broke off and it still didn't move so not trying any harder. Can't even get the chrome bit to unclip separately. Annoying as I'm really not a fan of chrome bits. May try some plasti dip while it's on the car

Will just mask it off and spray on the car. Ain't removing the whole bumper just for that bit of trim

Yes but on my 1967 bug think it'd look a bit odd on a modern car although some 1980's american stuff looks cool with it
