getting a bit tired of the one-after-another thing

Mmm, remember seeing something like that on the G40 site... and like an arse, promptly forgetting it 
Havent actually done anything with the lambda at all yet, not tested or anything (a bit unsure as to how, but it'll probably work out similar to the temp sender and alternator - easy enough, if i can stand the lightheadedness from the slight exhaust leak i seem to have). After all the crap i've driven over, around, through, i suspect any earth lead from there is either 1. missing 2. broken 3. dirty as f**k.... hell can i trust my mechanic to have properly replaced everything after last fixing the outlet manifold gasket?
What do you need for that, just a bit of regular - but thick! - wire? or does it need screw/bolt eyes soldered onto it and all that?
Bit wet for all that right now anyway... was going to be finishing the underseal on the tank (again! it's a "ill do it tomorrow" job) today but i'm f***ing that off as well. Mebbe just check the handbrake adjustment instead

It was a big ass ol' piece of wire I stripped from a 3 core house wire, solid copper, so I just made a loop out of either end and bolted it under the nuts that were already there until I get some eyes to solder on.Tahrey1043 wrote:so how do you attach it, then? words to the clueless and all.
hmmm the big ass puddle that i unexpectedly hit at 45mph yesterday night - and damn near stacked it because of - cant have helped matters either.
puddles suck, but look at it this way, at least it wasn't Marmite.

Ugh..... my latest economy figure..... 35mpg. 34 litres over 265 miles. Teh Sux0r.
Then again the car has seen some fairly hard service compared to the general state of affairs the last couple months - beating up the M6 to mates party (70-ish on the motorway, but then jams, and lots of low gear full throttle howling), beating back down it trying to keep up with her Astra, a couple times trying not to be late for work, in between vain, brief attempts to be more frugal.
Could be better though, I think / hope..... so i'll give that idea a shot (plenty of spare cable about) "tomorrow" assuming the weather doesn't turn to crap just as i step outside for what must be at least the tenth day in a row. Ended up putting that long postponed second layer of underseal on in conditions that went thru sunny, to dark, to actually raining, because I was hacked off with trying to sit the storms out...
EDIT: yep... the weather crapped out again
went to GSF to get fluid instead (*much* cheaper than halfords, though 'frauds is definately the cheap spot to get a pressure bleed kit from - even better than the place mr gsf reccomended)...... managed about a 10mph average speed through tropical monsoon conditions, as every nob on the road took it as a cue to drive super super slow.. sure, 30 in a 40, fair enough. Doing 15 round every last curve just isn't on though.
Plus a puddle with ideas above its station on the route towards m6 j5 (right by the Tame) snarled everything. Grr.
There was about 5 minutes respite in which i started looking at doing the fluid, but had to give up again.
Been offered use of the garage tomorrow though, which is nice, so i might get something done at last.
