How do I get inside the interior light domes?

I want to swap the bulbs in the main dome for some brighter ones but a search on google only shows results for more basic domes in VW's range of cars where the "frosted" part can easily be pried away.

Well, in this dome the "frosted" part is flush and there's no easy point of entry that I can find. I started gently pully at the housing itself but didn't want to go too far in case it was actually screwed in.



It's the same at for the light dome in the back of the car, no easy access that I can see.

Can anyone give me any tips on where I should be prying/pulling in order to access the bulbs in either of the light domes?

You need a plastic prybar like this to insert along the edge of the glass to pry it out so you can access the bulbs.

Its just clips that hold it in I removed the rear plastic part in your picture first just needs a descent tug
