I swaped my BCM from 6R0937087K to 7H0937089F in my Polo 6R from 2012 everything seems te be in order save for 2 things.
First off my instrument cluster display indicates that rear reverselight dos not work but it works just fine so the instrument cluster display is wrong in VCDS i have tried to erase the error massage evendough the error is removed in VCDS the warning light still apears in my instrument cluster display.
The other mailfunction is my corneringlights do not seem to work while the workt fine in my previous BCM on VCDS indicates that the work currectly but the don't when i put on the foglights they funtion properly
You guys have any tips or any idea's how to solve this
I guess it could be that the T5 Transporter has a double reverse light, while the 6R only has one. So it is missing the second one.
About the fog lights/cornering lights, I'm not sure. Normally you can code to operate the fog lights trough fog lights (or actually, fog lights trough cornering lights).
Fog lights in cornering lights: 1 wire per light unit, from BCM to light unit (i believe T73b/9 and /10 resp left and right)
Fog lights seperate from cornering lights: 1 wire per cornering light to xenon headlight (resp T73b/9 to left T14/14 and T73b/10 to right T14/14) and 1 wire from headlight switch (through fuse box) to both foglights.
But I do not understand why it is not working now. Can you check the fog light coding and cornering lights coding?
The problem is that the Polo 6R has several ways to connect and provide power to the reversing light, it is depending on equipment ... halogen headlight, factory xenon, blueMotion, manual transmission, etc ...
BCM089F software detects a fault in the wiring and reflected in the instrument cluster.
