Im going to buy new wheels for my 2013 Polo 6R 1.4 and i need help with it. I am looking at 17'' wheels and i was wondering i know that the offset on the polo is 35mm and that gives you a positive camber. Is it ok if i buy wheels that are 17'' with an offset of 40mm ?.
Please someone explain to me .
For Example these one here would fit the polo ?. http://www.ebay.com/itm/17-XXR-535-Mult ... b6&vxp=mtr
I assume you will be buying the 7j ones, which are listed with an offset of 35, they will fit fine on your polo. 7j et40 will also fit.
The offset of wheels do not effect camber

Oh thank you alot
So how do i get a little negative camber?.
on the fronts u can by camber plates
You dont need to touch the camber for those sizes, you'll probably adversely effect the handling if u change the camber.
Are you sure you're not confusing camber with offset?
