Samsung Car Mode for Galaxy

Has anyone with a recent Samsung Galaxy phone and a Polo with MirrorLink been able to download the new Car Mode for Galaxy app? And does it work?

I have mirrorlink and last time I checked couldn't use my S5 mini with it. Samsung is apparently rolling out platform updates which should help but still waiting. I think it'll take a change of phone ,for me next year, to utilise it.

i wouldn't bother worrying about trying to connect your phone via mirrolink as it stops all function once you move.

i believe that android auto is a better implementation of mirrorlink but at the mo there is no upgrade for early headunits

Do you think there will be a mod to enable functions of mirror link while on the move some time soon

Mirrorlink works with certain apps while moving. There is a very long thread over on Briskoda (in the Fabia 3 section) about Mirrorlink, and what it can and cannot do.
