Sp11 throttle controller

Don't think this has been covered on here before after doing a quick search. Correct me if I'm wrong! Was just wondering if anyone had fitted one of these if it's possible to the new gti? And how effective is it? Sounds really good on the box but not sure what it will be like in real life.

Sounds very much like snake oil, I've seen so many devices of this sort over 50 years of modifying cars, yet to meet one that actually makes a difference across the spectrum other than very professional remapping. Only seems to fit pre 2000 Polos although the list may be incomplete.

Think about it, how can a more aggressive throttle response make any difference to engine revs. If you crave that sort of response try wearing Doc Martens.

I think I'll wait a year and just put a stage one on. After all I don't know ,much about these and you seem to have plenty experience so I'll take your advice and leave It thanks
