2013 Polo R-Line. Adding Leaving / Coming Home Lights

Hi there.

I'm Nathan. I've got a Golf and a Caddy.

I've recently got my wife a nice Polo R-Line. Had one as a courtesy car once and loved it and even now I can't help grabbing her keys and taking it for a quick spin to the shops..

I really want to add Leave / Coming home lights as were we park its a bit dark and as the nights draw it I'd rather she is able to light up the area when she is walking to the car.

I've seen an old thread where someone was selling kits but that seems to have ended.

Is there a definitive list of parts needed and a how to guide?

i'm afraid not... you don't appear to have a light sensor.

maybe a chinese auto-light set could work though:

Yeah there isn't a light sensor fitted currently. I don't mind fitting one though. Either OEM or After Market.

The actual Auto lights while driving aren't REALLY needed. Its just the CH / LH functionality I want really.

Any more advise on this?

I tried an aftermarket chinese one and the auto lights worked fine but it didn't give me leaving home like I wanted.

It's not my video, but author say, that he has got Chinese auto-headlight module.
