The server was down this evening for a while...
The reason was that the server which holds the name and forwarding details for www.uk-polos.net had no power!
The whole bulding had apparently lost power, and the UPS (Uninteruptable Power Supplies - Big Batteries to you!) didn't last long enough (ie until the power was returned to the building)
Hope it didn't traumatise to many of you!
