coilovers + alloys

Post by s-gx »

Hi im thinking about getting coilovers for my 1.4 8v, ive had a look on ebay and there is some for like £140 any ideas if they are actually good or is it worthwhile just getting lowering springs and shocks as i am on a slight budget! Also looking to get some alloys as its just 13' steelys atm, i seen a set of 16' alloys for sale would these be too big? thanks alot guys

16s are ok on the polo - just need 195/40/16 tyres or theyll rub

I would buy a quality set of springs and shocks over cheap coilovers any day of the week

a 35/35 or 40/40 drop would be great on 16s. 60/40 is too low and will scrub.

Good choice

Demontweeks do a good range as do venom Motorsport.

6n2s dont have drop links

If you want to be alot lower then a 60/40 kit
