Saw another GTI for the first time since picking mine up almost 2 months ago on the way to work this morning! Metallic black, in Warrington. Hi if you're on here. :D

Picked my Polo GTI up this weekend. Traded in my 2013 Polo R-line. 1.2 tsi to a 1.8 tsi. Wow what a difference. Best car owned to date!! Plus it's sexy.

Weather meant I'd owned it less than 12 hours and it was already filthy.

My OH was looking at the Fiesta ST as a possible but I really don't like how cluttered the dash is.

Does look a bit low rent compared to VW, did find it pretty well screwed together in the zetec s I had for 3 years. Also lots moaned about the cluttered Sony stereo, I always found it easy to use myself and it did sound gr8, but rattled the speaker grids in the rear of the car lol

Yeah agreed. I've never had a Fiesta ST but have played around with one and although the stereo is fugly it does sound pretty good.

Looks class mate, every time I see pics of a white one I have second thoughts over my choice of black.

White is just so hard to keep clean and look good but I suppose so is black really. I wanted it I'm black but a white one was available quicker. So I got that instead lol

Just signed a lease deal for a new Gti in white no options for delivery in 2 weeks, do they come with the DRL's as standard? I know the LED headlights are standard!

Bit worrying as I live down a row of terraced houses so sometimes have to park far up the road away from my front door, find myself carrying my keys to my door to avoid accidentally unlocking the car from my pocket!

Haven't sussed out if it auto locks itself yet or not? :?

I was 184ft in the air and parked probably 200-300 feet away from the bottom of what I was on and I managed to lock the car!

The car will auto lock if the doors ain't opened. Image

Yeah they're both hard to keep clean, especially at this time of the year. Once the weather brightens up and the days get longer I'll have more desire to clean it and keep it looking sharp. With it being dark when I go to work and come home I don't get to admire it much at the moment!

I picked up my new GTI in Silver. I think the colour shows the shape definition different to the other colours if that makes sense :) Will add some pics when clean. Talking about clean, going to be using Valet Pro Citrus pre wash and power washer. Don't like to touch the car in the winter and scratch the clear coat. Also have Valet Pro Bilberry for the wheels. Have great reviews.

Anyone doing the same or something similar?
