GTI Dials/Clocks in my R-Line
GTI Dials/Clocks in my R-Line
Hi I was wondering what would be needed to replace my current ?? (midline/comfortline) ?? dials with those from a 6R GTI (I would like temperature and analogue petrol gauge instead of digital.)

Re: GTI Dials/Clocks in my R-Line
1 instrument cluster (I'd recommend a new one)
1 dealer with the necessary tools to code the new immobilizer (in the instrument cluster)
1 money to pay the dealer for their services

Thank you.
So will everything else be plug and play such as temperature and what is playing on the radio?
Or will that have to be coded in too?
What about mileage?

I think that the dealer will code it all correctly so it will all work. What I remember from my TDI with GTI clocks, it was only necessary to modify the tacho.
Everything else just, you know, worked Mileage is part of the adaptation of the cluster to the car.

If your car is a 1,2 then why not get the BlueGT speedo? Revs match your on the speedo which it doesn't on the GTI speedo.
