Arosa(Lupo) inside door release fail

Post by piglet14 »

Having to wind window down to open drivers door.
Amusing at first but novelty wearing off.
I'll try and make time (tricky) to get the door card off saturday.
Inner release just went slack, what's the likely scenario?

Probably a broken handle on the inside. Theres a wire that comes through from the lock that goes onto a cast alloy arm. Could well have jammed or snapped

Thanks Alex
That's what it feels like, also got to fit the lock return spring that the previous owner gave us.
Need to cancel Xmas or reduce No. of rellies.

Finally got to this today.
Inner release was a snapped metal arm on the back of the inner handle, £12.99 off FleaBay.
The lock spring fiasco was a total pita, and why did VW have to make the barrels handed??? Thought that was just the French that did stuff like that.
