GTI 6C little mods

Afternoon! I've got a 6C GTI being delivered around 2nd Jan, and already planning a couple of small bits and bobs to do to it, so was looking for advice/opinions/general thoughts on the following-
Hardwiring in a Brodit & dashcam
Putting in LED rear lights - maybe by replacing the halogen bulbs with LED bulbs rather than replacing the whole unit.
Installing footwell lights, probably colour adjustable ones if that's easy enough to do.
Which brand of wind deflectors is best/what're the options, in terms of both appearance and added noise etc.

I haven't done too much like this before so if anyone has any experience, advice etc please chip in!:)

Rear lights to LED is easy try www.horizionled.com they've supplied all mine and so far been very reliable.

Whats the idea of putting leds in the oem rear lights?
