yeah to put the esp in sport mode you have to do that via the display

i think it should default to normal mode (full esp) every time you start it

So I've got it set to sport mode and that's why it's doesn't flash when pushing on hard or cut in when wheels spin, even tho I haven't hit the sport button???

you can set the esp to sport mode but not have the sport button pressed

i highly suggest you don't do this in the wet as it only really for a dry race track lol

i don't think this is your problem. i'd find a wet large roundabout and really try to get the traction to kick in (at slow speeds) and if the light doesn't flash then take it back to vw

I'll check in the morning if I have the esp on sport mode , if it's on sport mode will the yellow esp light stay on the dash or will it be off???

So checked the esp out this morning , really icy roads , 1st and 2nd wheels spin up and still no traction like flicking on dash , so must be a fault [emoji21]

Well this happened today. Might not be to everyone's taste, but the world would be a boring place if we were all the same. I personally love it, completely changes the look of the front of the car. (sorry its a quick I phone pic haha)

I will be testing this esp to see if it flashes on another note

Has anyone been to VW for them to sort this squeeking on the brakes?! Mine is driving me mad, had the car 3 months but still it crops up!

Stuck in slow moving motorway traffic yesterday by far the worst experience, 5 miles of 10-15mph squeeling!!!

Stops when the brake pedals pushed but otherwise, any time when going 10-15mph its there!

Intend to go to VW but just need to know if its something thats gonna cost me or not before hand.. Appreciated!

It's under warranty so they can't charge you. Mine still does it on occasion.
