Post by greypolo9n3 »

I have a polo 6r tdi with bilstein b14 suspension...ive got 205/45/17 tyres and its pretttyy low at the front

the rear has no adjusters and its low...but i just want to kill that little 15mm of arch gap i have.

any ideas what i can do?...i cant cut the springs due to SAFETY and the way theyre shaped

so im out of ideas...

I'm I n a similar situation, lowered the rear of mine -50mm but want it lower, more than happy with the front at -35mm so don't want to fit full coilovers, just want to lower the rear a bit more, what are lowered top mounts ? And are there any other ways to lower just the rear a bit more, tried to find a set of rear coilovers but everywhere just sells full kits ?

I have AP coilovers and was in the same situation. I took the rear adjusters out and that closed the gap but now my exhaust catches on speedbumps lol.

There are places that can compress springs to your requirements but not recommended as they could snap during compression.

Where do these rubber bushings mount?
And what polo model do they come from?
How much do they lower the rear.

Would be perfect on my BlueGT.

Cheers

They will certainly help, but not sure they will be enough, I'm looking for an extra 20mm or so, how much lower than standard can coilovers go....and does anyone out there know where I can get just a pair for the rear ? Or if that's even possible ?
