So at the start of January, I noticed that whenever I started my car a light came up on the dash saying "oil Change: 30 days"
Does this mean I just need to top up my oil levels, or that I need to take it into VW for a service?
Car is a 64 plate BlueGT with about 5k miles on the clock. I'm assuming others have had this at some point or another, how much should this cost me?
Thanks!

Re: Oil Change
Means in 30 days it needs an oil service
If not on a service plan (it's much cheaper to be!) anywhere between 120 and 170 depending on the dealer

That's quick, my BGT is on like 7200 miles (15 plate) and I've not had that yet unless it's because my service isn't due until May

That is because it's on a "countdown" if you will... 2 years or 18.000 miles (I believe 30.000 Km translates into).tomtoon2015 wrote:That's quick, my BGT is on like 7200 miles (15 plate) and I've not had that yet unless it's because my service isn't due until May
You can see how long you have to go in the on board computer.
In the Polo 6R it's in the MFD display in the speedo and in the 6C it's in the radio.
