Hi Guys,

Just brought myself a little Polo Match, And know nothing about them!!!

Have come from a bmw backround, so know german, but need some help on mods etc?

Also what alloy size i need?!

Obviously i shall be investing in coil overs/tints etc etc..

Just needing some tips?!

Welcome

Alloys ideally stick to 15s as your top size. Tyres for 16s are expensive given they have to be a specific size

What are your plans

Oh no I don't like expensive things haha!

Right okay, all stud patterns and all that rubbish I need to find out then I want some sweet alloys on it!

Then coil overs, tints, possibly a horrendous cherry bomb just for the giggles!!

Know nothing about Volkswagen so bit appriensive but hey ho!!

The polo takes 4x100 with a 57.1mm centre bore

Offset wise, for normal 15s, expect a 6 or 6.5J with somewhere between ET38 and ET45

Well my polo life has started badly.. My clutch went today

Sad.. Very sad..

Now poorly polo is somewhere in Poole/bournemouth at a garage waiting to have some TLC!

Be sure to ask them to change the clutch sleeve as many garages don't do this - it often wears out and makes the clutch pedal stiff
