Polo gti pcp offer... Is this a good deal?

Post by Ianjehu »

Hi, I'm currently in the process of getting a new car. I have spec'd up the following:

Polo gti 3dr
Manual
Metallic paint
front centre armrest
Convenience pack
Net app connect airbag deactivate

I'm looking for a pcp on this basis:
48months
£1000 from me
£1400 contribution from vwfs
10,000 per annum

Been quoted £231 (and a few pennies). With a final balloon of £7948.

Obviously getting the free 1year insurance as part of the vw deal they have currently too.

What do you guys think of the monthlies compared to what deals you have had on your gti's? Keen to see what's out there.

I put £5600 of my own money in up front, got a loan for £13000 and purchased from CarWow @£18600 for 5dr flat black +park&cruise + folding wing mirrors + park and light + sports button. Repayment over 5 years not 4 @230/month. So this seems slightly cheaper than yours but no insurance.

Do you know which dealer supplied the car to you through carwow?

Mine is a 3 door manual
Normal white
Park and cruise pack with camera
Auto lights and wipers
App connect
400 deposit and £232 a month over 4 years with 9100 left
Only 5000 miles a year but I'll trade it in after 3 years and probably still be up.
