Any chance of digital speed display on '13 6R GTI?

Hello there.
I've owned my 63 plate GTI for nearly 3 months now and all is going well so far (with only about 75ml. of oil consumption over 1400 miles).
However, I would love to have a digital speed display (albeit small) on the dash, and the handbook tells me that it can be an option, together with oil temp., range , average fuel consumption etc. , but it doesn't appear as an option on my dash menu.
So, has anybody with a 1.4 GTI like mine been able to find a way to get digital readout in mph please? Thanks.

P.S. I've wandered over to this site from ClubPolo, having previously been unaware of it , and I'm very pleased to discover that it certainly has much more coverage of the 6R/C GTI's

It is in all the european models (left hand drive) from the factory.

I have it stock in my BlueGT aswell... Don't know if it a problem when the speedo reads in MPH...

If its anything like my 11 gti i had to code it with vcds by default it was kmh(theirs a requirement for cars to display both the polo doesnt have a analogue kmh) you need to change the cluster to Australia then you can pick mph
