Missing a clip or not?

Hi guys, just a quick question.............................Should there be some sort of a clip around the bottom of this breather hose located on the left side of the engine cover? The reason I'm asking is that there is a slight weep at the end of the pipe as can be seen in photo (circled).

Car is on SORN at present waiting for my son to pass his test, so I thought it might be a good idea to have a mate of mine who owns an MOT garage to pick it up on trade plates and give it a pre mot inspection so that I can put right anything that needs doing. This is being done on Monday so look out for questions :D :D
