These filters have covered about 10,000 miles. They are nice and clean. K&N filters are intended to last the life of the vehicle.
Panel filters only make a small difference to performance. I had a Polo with a 1.0L AUC engine, and would take any help that was going! It's a fun upgrade, I thought it improved the pick-up a little bit, but that could well be just psychological
You need a pair of these for most applications. A pair of these filters would be about £85 new.
They are easy to fit: 2 bolts to remove the airbox, then remove the series of screws which hold the airbox together, then swap in the new filters.
