I have a 1.2 in the same spec as yours, so far I have lowered it 35 mm front and 55mm rear using direnza springs, took off some polo badges, done the vw badges black and added some 17" alloys from an Audi TT that I had powder coated grey to match the car, also fitted some central locking via the key with a kit from eBay, looking at some fli eye tint for all the lights next but don't want it to be too common looking ya know, got some fog lights planned too and maybe some very light tint on the Windows as well as a gti grill when I get one at the right price :) I will put some pics on when I get my alloys back on as they are in the garage at the min out the way of the winter weather :) :)

Hey there.
Your car is going to look great. I also have the same color as you do but its a 5-door. I have the 1.4 petrol engine instead of the 1.2 .
The things i have do so far

-Old sony player.(going to get upgraded soon to rcd510).
- 4 new speakers from Alpine, Two 6x9 speakers on the trunk lid and two in the back door panels.
- 1000w subwoofer.
- Gloss black VW emblems in the front and back.
- 16'' Wheels.
- H&R lowering springs , 35mm at the front and 55mm at the back.
- Tinted windows , 10% in the back , 35% in the front.

Im planing on doing alot more but not until summer.

Here's some photos of the exterior.

That looks awsome. The pictures have deffinatly sold me on the black badges!
Im putting money aside for wheels at the minute im hoping to get some 17" scirocco interlagos replicas but im wanting to get a few other small exterior upgrades done first (these will be done when i get a tax refund) and hopefully by summer it will be looking great

Ye thanks man !. Just so you know it can be a bit of a struggle geting the grill with the badge off the car , So really take your time on that so you dont break any clips. Same with the badge on the trunk there are clips that hold the badge in and its very easy to break them. I broke 1 clip on the original badge in the back but i really dont mind because i dont think im ever going to change to the silver one , looks way more nice with the black.

I would go for 17'' . I got 16'' because i really liked those rims i bought and all the shops didnt have any other in 17'' that were as nice imo.
Good luck with your car! And please keep the updates coming. :)

I saw a sign of sunshine so i was straight down to my friends to get the cars washed.

I love how the paint looks when its cleaned and polished (despite the fact my polishing needs alot of work)
